What Should I Expect During Neuromodulator (Botox®) Treatment? 

Your dermatologist will determine the appropriate injection sites on the face and the amount of product to inject to achieve your desired result. Then, the area is cleansed and prepared for injections. Numbing is not usually needed. Neuromodulator injections are completed in a matter of minutes with tiny needles.

What Should I Expect After Neuromodulator (Botox®) Treatment?

How Long Does It Last? 

Botox® and Dysport® results are temporary. Typically, you will begin to see full results about a week after the first injection, which will last for about 3-4 months. After this point, you can receive repeated injections to maintain your results if you choose. Your physician will help you choose a treatment plan that will work best for you.

When Can I Go Back To Work?

After injections with Botox® or Dysport®, you may see some redness and slight swelling at the injection site which usually dissipates after an hour. You can immediately return to your normal routine but we do advise that you do not exercise right after the injections.

Are Neuromodulator (Botox®) Injections Right For Me?

During the initial consultation, your doctor will discuss treatment options with you. In some cases, combining Botox® or Dysport® with other procedures such as dermal filler, laser, or chemical peels may best refresh your look and yield your desired outcome.

When Should I Start? 

Some patients choose to start neuromodulator injections when they begin to notice wrinkles on their faces. They may start in their twenties to prevent wrinkles while others wait until their sixties to soften facial lines.
